Personal Server Monitor

A free and open source tool to set up customizable monitoring of a Linux server from your Windows desktop.

This tool is primarily designed for individuals (like me) who administer one or more Linux servers, but use Windows on their personal computer and want to be notified when something goes wrong.

Features

• Each check runs on its own schedule, and perform an action when it fails.
• Supports checking remote servers in various ways:
  • Ping.
  • Check the response of an HTTP request.
  • Check the available disk space of a server over SSH.
  • Check the size and modification date of a file over SSH.
  • Check the output and exit code of an arbitrary SSH command.
• Small, free, no installation required.

Requirements

Windows 7 or newer, with .NET 4.5.

Download ServerMonitor.zip and extract to a location of your choice.
